2022 is set to be a huge year for lawn bowls with our sport once again featuring at the Commonwealth Games which will be held in Birmingham, England. The dates for the Games are Thursday 28th July – Monday 8th August with the lawn bowls event being held at Royal Leamington Spa BC, Victoria Park.

Scotland have been hugely successful at the Commonwealth Games in the past and at the last two Games in Glasgow and the Gold Coast the team has won 5 gold medals, 2 silver medals and 1 bronze medal. If you would like to cheer on Scotland at next year’s Games, the Birmingham 2022 public ticket ballot will be open between Wednesday 8th – Thursday 30th September 2021.

Tickets start from £8 for under 16’s and £15 for adults. There are also £22 tickets available for every session of the Games, including medal sessions, and for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies. For more information on how to apply for tickets, please visit:

If you have any further enquiries, then FAQ’s can be found on the Birmingham 2022 website here:

We would encourage you to pass this information on to any of your fellow club members that may be interested in attending the Games. We hope to see as many Scottish supporters there as possible and making it a home from home Games for the team.

Thanks again for your continued support.
